Strict new guidelines regarding what children should drink under the age of five were developed and influenced by the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the American Heart Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. They are the most strict thus far in the midst of excessive childhood obesity.
